Michael Tmad Finney is known for his Emotionist style, in which He creates art pieces to express feeling, using color and flowing dimensions, along with a name that coincides. Emotionism is a combination of Expressionism, Surealism, Abstractism, as well as Symbolism, to connect a viewer to an individual piece by explaining feelings, thoughts and situations through a visual process using colors and flow to fit the subject in question. Finney created Emotionism in 1995, yet earlier works as far back as 1988 clearly showed the hallmarks of the style that would become His life's work, to create art that tested the bounds of expressing emotion.
